1. About us

This website, houseofember.store, is operated by House of Ember. You can contact us at houseofember.help@gmail.com. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Our products are sold for personal, domestic use only, not for resale.

3. Products

We try to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours can look slightly different on different screens, and sizes and measurements are approximate. Products may vary slightly from their images.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling, or in your local currency where available, and include UK VAT where it applies. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.

Launch prices, discounts and offers apply only for the period stated and can be withdrawn at any time. If we find a pricing error on something you have ordered, we will contact you and offer to cancel the order or confirm it at the correct price.

5. Your order

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or we cannot verify payment. If we do, we will refund anything you have paid for it.

8. Using this website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing harmful code, copying its content for commercial use, or placing fraudulent orders.

All text, images, logos and designs on this website belong to House of Ember or its licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any rights you have by law that cannot be excluded.

Otherwise, we are responsible only for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for business losses, or for loss caused by using a product other than as intended or instructed.

11. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal delays, customs processing, severe weather or supplier disruption.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those in force when you placed it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you also keep any protections that the consumer law of your country gives you.
